Number of British smokers down by nearly 2 million since smoking ban

The number of British people smoking has fallen by 1.9 million since the introduction of the smoking ban, new figures from Cancer Research UK have revealed. Smoking rates are now the lowest ever recorded. Smokefree laws have had one of the biggest impacts on public health over the last decade.
