UK woman becomes first European to be fitted with new Biotronik pacemaker

Following the recent CE mark approval for Biotronik’s E-Series pacemaker, a UK woman has become the first person in Europe to be implanted with the streamlined device. The patient, a woman with a history of heart failure and complete heart block, had an Enitra 8 HF-T QP device implanted on July 27 at Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
